Cherry Picker Operator / Warehouse Associate $20 / hour 1st shift - 730-10 am start and 4 pm to 6 pm finish Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating cherry pickers and other material handling equipment to efficiently pick, pack, and organize inventory within a fast-paced distribution environment. Your expertise will ensure the safe and accurate movement of goods, supporting seamless warehouse operations and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in warehouse management systems, and committed to maintaining safety standards across all tasks. Responsibilities Operate cherry pickers, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely in accordance with OSHA and company safety protocols. Perform order picking by accurately retrieving products from elevated storage locations using barcode scanning technology. Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to warehouse safety standards and manual handling procedures. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal functionality of material handling machinery. Manage inventory levels through proper documentation within warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular stock counts. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring proper barcode scanning for logistics accuracy. Experience Proven experience operating cherry pickers, forklifts, or similar material handling equipment in a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management, and shipping & receiving procedures. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, forklift safety protocols, and best practices for manual handling. Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly desirable.
