Job Description

Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc is seeking a Material Handler Specialist to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will safely receive, store, and move materials, stage components for production, and prepare outbound shipments. You'll operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure materials are organized and available to keep production flowing. Working in a team-focused, continuous-improvement culture, you'll help optimize warehouse processes and uphold rigorous safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and components against documentation Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move and store products Stage and deliver materials to production lines according to work orders and schedules Prepare, package, and load outbound shipments following customer and carrier requirements Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS/ERP and assist with cycle counts Organize warehouse and staging areas to support efficient material flow and 5 S standards Follow all safety, quality, and OSHA guidelines while handling materials and equipment Collaborate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to resolve material issues Report material discrepancies, damages, and shortages promptly Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse and material-handling processes Required Skills Forklift operation Inventory management systems (WMS/ERP) Shipping and receiving procedures Load securing and material staging Basic data entry and documentation Use of pallet jacks and material handling equipment Safety and OSHA compliance Cycle counting Reading work orders and packing lists Basic mechanical aptitude
