Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Warehouse Associate plays an important role in our Distribution Center. In this role you will manage day-to-day stock operations, including receiving shipments, picking and packing orders, updating inventory logs, and keeping the facility safe and organized. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Receiving and Unloading:
Check incoming shipments, unload delivery trucks, and inspect goods for damage or missing items.Stocking and Organizing:
Sort products and put them away in designated shelf or pallet locations to optimize storage space.Picking and Packing:
Gather items from stock based on customer orders, package them securely, and apply correct shipping labels.Shipping and Loading:
Prepare outgoing orders and load them onto delivery trucks according to schedules.Inventory Controls:
Enter data into computer systems, update stock logs, and help conduct physical cycle counts.Safety and Cleanliness:
Keep aisles clear of debris, handle materials safely, and wear required protective gear. Daily Operations and Logistics- Supervise receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping
- Help manage inbound and outbound freight
- Help resolve delayed orders or shipping errors
- Maintain clean and safe floor spaces
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Strong organization skills- Highly detailed-oriented
- Ability to be self-motivated
- Familiarity with common best practices for a shipping / DC function
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Regularly remain in a stationary position and move about the distribution center for extended periods (including standing and walking for most of the workday)
- Frequently position self to pack, label, inspect, and move shipping cartons
- Regularly transport packages and materials, including lifting and moving cartons weighing up to 50+ pounds
- Perform repetitive motions related to packing, labeling, scanning, and sorting shipments
- Occasionally ascend/descend stairs or ladders within the distribution center
- Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures, noise from equipment, and active material movement
- Maintain a work pace sufficient to meet daily shipping deadlines This is a full-time, on-site position.
