Our customers rely on us to help identify and solve the efficiency and productivity challenges they face. www.thehopegroup.com The Warehouse Receiving Person plays a key role in the flow of goods through the distribution center. This position is responsible for unloading inbound freight, verifying product accuracy, documenting receipts, and ensuring materials are quickly and correctly routed into inventory to support high volume distribution operations. \n Key Responsibilities
  • Inbound Receiving — Unload trucks, inspect shipments, verify quantities, and check for damage.
  • Inventory Verification — Match packing lists, purchase orders, and system records to ensure accuracy. Receive customer returns using the CARS system.
  • Material Handling — Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment to move product to designated storage locations. Put inventory away in assigned bin locations.
  • System Updates — Enter receiving data into the ERP system (Tribute) and apply proper labeling/barcoding.
  • Quality Checks — Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods. Using CARS system, create DMR reports and work with Purchasing Team to resolve issues.
  • Safety Compliance — Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times. Keep work area and dock organized and safe.
  • Maintain receiving documents and files as required.
  • Support The Hope Group Business Management System [BMS] procedures and work instructions by following established processes and supporting their continual improvement
  • Perform other similar or related duties as required or requested.
