We are currently seeking a highly motivated full-time Warehouse Associate/Fork Life Operator at our Norton Operations Center.
JOB SUMMARY
Works with materials, equipment, and supplies by performing receiving, warehousing and distribution duties as directed.
SCHEDULE
8:30am-5pm: Tuesday-Friday 8am-4pm: Saturdays This position will report to our Operations center in Norton, MA which is located conveniently off Route 495. You will have access to our newly renovated space which includes a modern and updated break/lunch room, and top-notch training program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
: Ensures product is received, inventoried and shipped properly Operates Forklift and Clamp Truck Handles receiving cards of product brought back from prior day Obtains labels from Warehouse Supervisor and scans them using the RF scanner into type of stock. Maintains supply inventory for the warehouse Keeps warehouse clean and orderly daily No direct management or supervisory responsibility
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience operating fork lift type vehicles (scissor lift, clamp truck, forklift) Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written Ability to work a full-time schedule including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment Ability to process information/merchandise through computer system Availability to travel, as needed Must consent to and pass a driving record check, background screen, drug screen, and pre-employment physical including lift test. Must be able to perform manual labor in warehouse environment where there is moderate exposure to heat and/or cold Must have the ability to both sit and stand for a significant portion of the working day. Must be able to bend, lift and carry products up to 100 pounds with no physical assistance. Ability to carry products up to 250 pounds with the assistance of a co-worker as well as ability to manipulate and maneuver products up to 600 lbs. with the appropriate assistance to work effectively and safely
