In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse distribution processes, including order picking, loading, unloading, and inventory management. Your proactive approach and commitment to safety will ensure smooth warehouse operations, supporting our goal of delivering exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in heavy equipment operation and warehouse logistics while contributing to a dynamic team environment. Responsibilities Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cranes, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse Pick and prepare customer orders accurately using order picker equipment and manual handling techniques Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky items in accordance with safety protocols Conduct inventory management tasks including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and tracking using warehouse management systems Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols at all times Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Support warehouse operations by participating in safety meetings, reporting hazards, and following all safety procedures Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related roles with familiarity in warehouse operations and materials handling Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as clamp trucks, cranes, or other material handling equipment; forklift certification is preferred Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanners for order picking and tracking shipments Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively while following OSHA safety standards Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately Excellent manual handling skills with a focus on safety and efficiency Prior experience in shipping & receiving or logistics is a plus; warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous but not required Demonstrated commitment to safety protocol adherence in fast-paced environments Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in warehouse operations!
