Material Handler - 2nd Shift Techneeds - 3.3 Peabody, MA Job Details Contract $18 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Referral program Qualifications High school diploma or GED Materials handling Full Job Description Our client is looking for an experienced Material Handler for 2nd shift; must be able to train on 1st shift 3-4 weeks. Must have HS Diploma or GED, & strong computer skills. Must be physically capable of unloading trucks and lifting boxes/materials. An ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse. Receive items by accepting deliveries and unpacking incoming shipments. Verify items received by inspecting condition of items, comparing count/measure of times to purchase order, packing list or other records, and noting discrepancies. Issue materials to and pulls material from stock for work orders (raw material, cable, piece parts and connectors) as requested. Transfer items received by routing or deliver items to departments. Load and unload products. Maintain inventory information by documenting and updating records of parts issued. Ensure the quality and control of materials by storing parts in appropriate locations and containers. Ensure quality, assist in reducing costs and continuously improve productivity by accurately tracking job time through bar coding or other means. This is in a fast paced shipping and receiving department for a manufacturing company. You will handle, receive, pack, label, and ship products using software and ERP systems. You will be receiving deliveries, entering receipts into the ERP Software using a computer, preparing outgoing shipments, and performing cycle counts of stock. Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM-12:30 AM (2nd shift) Training required on 1st shift for the first 3-4 weeks: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Think you know someone who'd be perfect for this role?
