Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. This role combines the essential responsibilities of delivering goods efficiently to customers while maintaining smooth warehouse operations. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring timely deliveries, safe handling of materials, and excellent customer service. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in commercial driving, warehouse management, and logistics coordination within a professional environment committed to safety and operational excellence. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vans or a box truck for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices. Manage warehouse tasks including inventory organization, moving stock within the warehouse, and operating material handling equipment. Deliver products directly to customers' locations with professionalism, providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction. Utilize mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with dispatch or team members. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule by following designated routes and schedules. Maintain compliance with safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual transmission vehicles, weight handling in the workplace, and DOT regulations. Assist in warehouse operations by preparing shipments, organizing stock, and supporting loading/unloading activities as needed. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly. Follow all company policies related to load security, safe lifting practices, and proper documentation procedures. Skills Experience in warehouse operations combined with delivery driving experience. Strong understanding of manual handling techniques, heavy lifting safety practices, and material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks. Knowledge of route planning using mobile devices or GPS systems to optimize delivery efficiency. Ability to adhere strictly to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety standards during all driving activities. Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor during deliveries and interactions with clients. Physical capability for manual handling tasks including moving heavy items safely. Good organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and warehouse tasks effectively. Pay:
