As our Electromechanical Assembly Technician , you will support the fabrication and mechanical assembly of motor generator systems and related equipment. Your work will include preparing and fabricating equipment bases, structural components, and enclosures using processes such as grinding, drilling, sanding, and painting. You will also unpack, inspect, identify, and stage motors, generators, control cabinets, and associated hardware for assembly. You will use hand and power tools to install brackets, panels, conduit supports, vibration isolators, cable trays, hardware, and other mechanical components onto system bases and enclosures. The role also includes basic assembly work such as fastening, alignment, gasket installation, and hardware torquing, along with safely moving and positioning equipment using pallet jacks, forklifts, cranes, chain falls, and hoists. You will work from production travelers, work instructions, bills of materials, and basic engineering drawings while assisting more experienced technicians with assembly, wiring, integration, and testing activities. You will also help maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment, support material handling as needed, identify and report assembly or safety concerns, and consistently work toward production schedules and quality expectations. The skills, education, and experience you need: To succeed in this role, you must have experience with: Using hand and power tools to perform mechanical fabrication and assembly work. Basic fabrication techniques such as drilling, grinding, sanding, surface preparation, and painting. Installing and assembling mechanical components, hardware, brackets, panels, supports, and enclosures. Reading and following work instructions, bills of materials, production documentation, and basic engineering drawings. Performing basic mechanical assembly tasks such as fastening, alignment, gasket installation, and hardware torquing. Safely handling, moving, and positioning equipment and materials in a production or manufacturing environment. Maintaining quality, safety, and housekeeping standards while working toward production schedules. Identifying and communicating damaged materials, assembly issues, or safety concerns.Answering your questions:
