JOB SUMMARY

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00
PM Pay Rate:
$25.87 per hour The QC Lead is responsible for overseeing quality control activities within the warehouse operation to ensure products meet company and customer quality standards. This position leads quality inspection processes, monitors compliance with established procedures, investigates quality issues, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The QC Lead serves as a resource for warehouse associates and works closely with operations to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and product integrity throughout the distribution process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and coordinate daily quality control activities within the warehouse. Perform and oversee inspections of incoming, stored, and outbound products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements. Verify product accuracy, quantities, labeling, packaging, and documentation. Conduct audits of warehouse processes and inventory to identify quality concerns and opportunities for improvement. Investigate quality discrepancies, damages, and non-conformance issues and assist in implementing corrective actions. Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and documentation. Train and coach warehouse associates on quality procedures, standards, and best practices. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality management procedures. Collaborate with warehouse leadership to improve operational efficiency and inventory accuracy. Utilize warehouse systems and technology to track and report quality metrics. Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS 1-3
years of quality control, warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience required. Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Basic mathematical and analytical skills. Ability to read, write, and interpret documents and reports. Experience with inventory control and warehouse management systems preferred. Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures preferred. Proficient communication and teamwork skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping. Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight. Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor. Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
