Shipping & Receiving Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor Job Summary Savvy Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to join our Shipping & Receiving team. This position supports the efficient flow of materials and products throughout the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling . The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, communicates well, and can work accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Forklift experience is preferred. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify materials, quantities, and documentation. Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Move, stage, and store raw materials and finished goods in designated locations. Process domestic and international shipping and receiving transactions. Prepare shipping documentation and accurately enter transactions into company systems. Read and interpret purchase orders, work orders, shipping orders, return authorizations, and related documentation. Maintain accurate inventory through proper material movement and system transactions. Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories. Research inventory discrepancies and communicate issues to the Warehouse Supervisor. Work with Purchasing, Customer Service, Production, and other departments to resolve material, shipping, receiving, and inventory issues. Support the timely movement of materials to and from Production. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Assist with training new warehouse employees as needed. Report shortages, damaged materials, discrepancies, and shipping concerns. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications 1-3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material-handling experience preferred. Previous forklift experience preferred. Experience with International shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling. Basic computer skills and ability to enter and retrieve information from computer systems. ERP, warehouse management, or inventory system experience preferred. Experience with third-party shipping software is a plus. Ability to read and understand purchase orders, shipping documents, work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong attendance and commitment to scheduled work hours.Pay:
$18.00- $25.
