Warehouse Material Handler text 8 4 7 5 8 0 2 8 1 4 Job Description Join our team as a Warehouse Material Handler where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our expansive 220,000 sq ft facility. Your primary responsibilities will involve offloading approximately 800 packages per day, sorting, palletizing, and presenting them to receivers for processing. This physically demanding role requires you to be on your feet all day as you collect and replace recycling and trash containers, sweep floors, scrape labels, and assist with scrap pallet collection and disposal. Responsibilities Unload incoming freight and ensure it accurately reflects the shipping manifest. Efficiently store freight in an organized manner for intake and receiving. Frequently use reach trucks and forklifts to categorize priority freight receipts. Verify package quantities prior to scanning them into the system, ensuring accuracy of deliveries. Assemble kitting pallets/carts and transfer them to the kitting operation. Essential Skills Experience in warehousing, loading, unloading, packing, palletizing, and lifting. Ability to lift 40 lbs. Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. Strong skills in inventory management, picking, and packing. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.62 - $18.62/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
