Job Requirements The Aubuchon Company is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to ensure timely, accurate deliveries while supporting warehouse, sales floor, and customer service operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, working hands-on with products and materials, and contributing to a safe, organized, fast-paced team environment.
What You'll Do:
Safely deliver products to customers and store locations with accuracy and professionalism. Communicate delivery status and arrival times as needed. Load, secure, unload, and handle merchandise to prevent damage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs. Follow all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and delivery procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, warehouse, aisles, shelves, and work areas. Support in-store operations by stocking merchandise, fulfilling online and curbside orders, and assisting customers. Greet customers, understand their needs, recommend products and complementary items, and provide exceptional service. Use Theatro communication technology to stay connected with the team. Promote loyalty programs, in-store events, monthly promotions, and customer feedback opportunities. Process sales and returns accurately using the POS system. Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs. Develop product knowledge in assigned departments and related categories. Perform services such as propane filling, key cutting, glass cutting, screen repair, and cutting chain, wire, and rope. Operate forklifts and powered material handling equipment safely. Answer product-related questions and escalate complex inquiries as needed. Assemble products for displays and customer orders. Complete required safety training and certifications, including forklift and propane certification. Report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately. Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and Aubuchon's Core Values. Additional Duties for
CMV Drivers:
Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all applicable laws and company policies. Maintain accurate driving logs and ensure legal compliance. Manage fuel needs and conduct additional vehicle safety inspections. Work Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be at least 18 years old; 21+ required for CDL drivers. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check. Prior delivery, retail, warehouse, or hardware experience preferred. Strong customer service, communication, organization, problem-solving, and time management skills. Basic math skills for transactions, inventory, and project estimates. Ability to operate tools and machinery, including key-cutting machines, material-handling equipment, and forklifts. Willingness to complete forklift and propane certification within 90 days of hire. Positive, professional, and approachable demeanor. Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to business needs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, push, and reach throughout shifts. Comfortable working in an animal-friendly environment; accommodations available upon request.
