• Job Responsibilities
• + Weigh and purchase various types of scrap metals + Identify and sort different metals accurately + Utilize computer systems for data entry and transaction processing + Assist customers and provide excellent customer service + Perform general yard duties and material handling + Maintain a safe and organized work environment + Work effectively with team members and the public
• Qualifications
• Required
• + Strong math skills + Basic computer proficiency + Previous manufacturing, industrial, or outdoor work experience + Strong communication and teamwork skills + Ability to work in varying outdoor conditions + Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Preferred
• + Mechanical aptitude or mechanical experience + Previous Yard Attendant, Material Handler, or similar experience + Supervisory or leadership experience

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Vacation; 1 week after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 10 years.
