We are seeking reliable and hardworking Dock Workers to support warehouse operations at a wholesale distribution facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling cartons, assisting with loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and organized dock area.Key Responsibilities:
- Stack, move, and organize cartons on the dock
- Load and unload trucks using a pallet jack
- Safely operate manual and electric pallet jacks (if applicable)
- Stage materials and prepare shipments as directed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or dock experience preferred
- Ability to operate a pallet jack (manual/electric)
- Strong attention to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for the entire shift
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Required Attire:
- Steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes
- Comfortable work pants (no shorts)
- High-visibility vest (provided if needed)
- Work gloves (recommended)
- Weather-appropriate clothing (dock area may be hot or cold depending on the season)
