The scope of this effort encompasses tasks that provideUSCYBERCOM
with the sustained ability to fulfill its mission to direct, synchronize, and coordinate cyberspace planning and operations to defend and advance national interests in collaboration with domestic and international partners. These tasks include coordinating, synchronizing, deconflicting, and integrating operational planning efforts for full-spectrum cyberspace operations. The anticipated award of this effort is Fall 2026.WHO YOU ARE
As a Cyber Operations Planner Journeyman, you will provide Cyberspace Operations Support Services (COSS) aligned with the following core disciplines: Cyberspace Operations, Cyberspace Planning, Cyberspace Training and Exercises, Strategy/Policy/Doctrine Development and Campaign, Assessments, Information Technology (IT)/Communications, Business Area Support and Project Management Engagement Activities. You will provide the customer with the sustained ability to fulfill its mission to direct, synchronize, and coordinate cyberspace planning and operations to defend and advance national interests in collaboration with domestic and international partners. These tasks include coordinating, synchronizing, deconflicting, and integrating operational planning efforts for full-spectrum cyberspace operations. #RMSROC Basic Qualifications- High School Diploma plus 6-13 years of relevant experience is required OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Operations, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 3-10 years of relevant experience is required OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Operations, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 3-8 years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience conducting targeted validation, synchronization, and integration of cyber actions to ensure alignment with mission objectives and preparing briefings for command staff that clearly convey plan intent, risks, and required resources.
- Experience adjusting plans based on emerging intelligence, technical constraints, or operational feedback and tracking task dependencies and timelines using approved planning tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
- Experience conducting literature review of target environments to identify capabilities, vulnerabilities, and potential collateral effects and coordinating with operators and analysts to incorporate technical input and ensure feasibility of planned cyber actions.
- Must possess a current US Security Clearance TS/SCI w/ poly. Desired Skills
- Familiarity with DoD cyber planning tools and templates (e.g., JCIDS).
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to produce clear briefings and written plans.
- Analytical mindset for rapid assessment of target environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with planning and project-management software.
- Understanding of cyber-operation concepts, targeting cycles, and the kill-chain.
- Experience in a DoD, intelligence, or coalition cyber environment preferred.
