Job Description
12noon start time untl complete - weekends are required, 2 days off will be during th week We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Selectors with some RECENT experience to join our Giant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and safety while working collaboratively with other team members to meet daily production goals. Responsibilities Efficiently pick and pack orders according to established procedures and customer specifications. Operate warehouse equipment such as ride on pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and effectively. Verify the accuracy of picked items against order lists to ensure quality control. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping deadlines while adhering to safety protocols. Follow all company policies and procedures related to order processing and warehouse operations. Experience Previous/RECENT experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is required. Familiarity with order picking processes, building pallets, inventory management systems, or warehouse management software is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Physical stamina to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and navigate the warehouse efficiently.
