Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Drive & Warehouse Associate, where your energy and dedication will drive our success! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to deliver products efficiently and reliably. You'll also play a key part in warehouse operations, handling materials with care and supporting the movement of goods across various locations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving expertise with hands-on warehouse work, ensuring smooth logistics and outstanding customer service every day. Role Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, by monitoring, and managing operation goals Solve day-to-day operational issues Manage inventory Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity and safety standards are met Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations Drive on event days for set up and break down. Comfortable with vehicles up to 15' box trucks. Responsibilities Oversees deliveries and pickups to ensure quality and quantity of products. Checks perpetual inventory regularly. Recommends purchases to Production Lead. Loads and unloads materials and supplies using available hand trucks and front-end loaders. Drive trucks to and from the venue on event days. Records deliveries and pickups. Maintains inventory records and tracking system. Determines appropriate places for storage. Rotates stock as needed. Monitors activities in warehouse to ensure proper recording of outgoing materials. Adjusts inventory levels to reflect receipts and disbursements. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, strips, waxes and buffs floor surfaces. Cleans restroom areas and replenishes paper supplies and soap as necessary. Cleans windows, walls, woodwork, blinds and light fixtures. Dusts and cleans desks and other furniture. Empties trash receptacles; deposits recyclable material in proper receptacles. Sweeps sidewalks and walkways outside of buildings; polices grounds, picking up debris; shovels snow and/or applies de-icing compounds to walkways and driveways, as necessary. Replaces burned out light bulbs. Prepares requisition forms to obtain necessary supplies for the coming workweek. Sets traps for rodents and other pests, appropriately discarding trapped animals. Performs other related work as required. Performs minor maintenance on appliances/equipment, as abilities allow. May open and secure buildings at start and end of workday, respectively; may turn on and off lights at start and end of day, respectively, and adjust heating or air conditioning, as appropriate. May arrange furniture for meetings or other events. Skills/Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid Driver's License 3+ years experience in a warehouse role Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work with all levels of company staff Comfortable communicating frequent written and oral feedback Requirements Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment and machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, flat boards, dollies, etc. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of 50 to 100 pounds. Requires the ability to compare and/or judge the readily observable, functional, structural or composite characteristics of data, people or things. Requires the ability to read a variety of correspondence, reports, forms, logs, lists, etc. Requires the ability to prepare correspondence, reports, forms, lists, etc. using prescribed formats. Requires the ability to apply rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form. Requires the ability to deal with people beyond giving and receiving instructions. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish
