• As part of the BioServices team, the Rockville, MD site focuses on the receipts, inventory storage, withdrawal and shipment of biological specimens, samples, clinical agents, and materials from multiple commercial and government clients.

Life:

• + Labeling, packaging, and assembly of drug products or collection kits.

+ Facilitate movement of materials, including hazardous materials, across the site + Maintain accurate inventory through receipts, adjustments, and cycle counts + Efficiently and flawlessly handle materials, ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines and procedures + Apply effective techniques to accurately receive, store, and distribute materials + Work with speed and accuracy to fulfill customer orders and maintain inventory control + Resolve discrepancies or issues with materials, collaborating with team members as needed + Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material handling processes

• Education:

• Physical Requirements / Work Environment
• + Work in a cold environment with exposure to dry ice, liquid nitrogen cryogenics, hazardous and infectious agents, and marked changes in temperature + Must use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols + Able to lift and carry 50 lbs and push up to 70 lbs + Periodically work in walk-in freezers and refrigerators for up to 5 hours per day
