Location/Division Specific Information:
- As part of the BioServices team, the Rockville, MD site focuses on the receipts, inventory storage, withdrawal and shipment of biological specimens, samples, clinical agents, and materials from multiple commercial and government clients.
- How Will You Make an Impact?:
- The Material Handler I supports operations by storing and shipping materials at temperatures ranging from ambient (room temperature) to
- 196 degrees C with potentially hazardous properties.

- Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- + Work in a cold environment with exposure to dry ice, liquid nitrogen cryogenics, hazardous and infectious agents, and marked changes in temperature + Must use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols + Able to lift and carry 50 lbs and push up to 70 lbs + Periodically work in walk-in freezers and refrigerators for up to 5 hours per day
