Job Description
Job Description Pay range for this position is $35.15/hr - $39.03/hr. This is a mid-level position to work as a Material Handler. Applicants may be assigned any Material Handler Trade tasks, but will initially be assigned to operate equipment including (but not limited to): receive/issue material at Warehouses and Facilities, maintain accurate inventory, operate fork lifts, operate barcode scanners and operate hand tools (Banders, etc.) Required/Preferred Education/Training Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record over the past 5 years required. Previous fork-lift experience required with the ability to demonstrate proficiency at time of interview. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Required/Preferred Experience Basic computer skills and use of barcode scanners. Must meet the requirements of the Material Handler physical task analysis, to include climbing stairs/ladders and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have a valid driver's license. More than 1 year of warehousing experience preferred. Previous BIW Material Handling experience or familiarity with BIW material Handling process preferred.
