TEMCO LOGISTICS
is hiring a Check-in Clerk in Portland, ME . Warehouse worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule . Please note these orders consist of large appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow the day-to-day flow and activities including receiving of inbound inventory, staging of outbound inventory for the delivery routes, accurate accounting of store inventory, coordination of manufacturer returns, recycling of packing materials and disposal of haul-aways. Maintain a clean and organized work and warehouse environment that meets safety standards. Verify quantity of each product to ensure physical count agrees with shipping and receiving documentation. Report and variances so that inventory levels are accurately adjusted in system. Loading and unloading delivery vehicles (trucks, vans, containers) using the clamp forklift. Move received product from the dock into the proper warehouse slots using forklift, pallet jack and dollies. Balance parts that are brought back and cross references what was used and returned. Picking out ordered items from containers and warehouses using. Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED (required) Ability to pass a background check (required) Ability to lift at least 50lbs. (required) Strong attention to detail Analytical thinking capability Forklift Certified (strongly preferred) Warehouse Experience (1 year, required) Must have a valid driver's license and driving record in good standing. #
