Job Description

We are seeking a hardworking, reliable Installation Assistant & Warehouse Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the right-hand support to our Lead Installer, helping to ensure that every job—from the warehouse to the customer's home—runs smoothly. You will handle warehouse logistics, operate high-low (forklift) equipment, drive delivery vehicles, and assist on-site with tear-outs, site prep, and the installation of flooring and window treatments. If you are a handy individual who takes pride in a hard day's work, enjoys variety in your workday between customer sites and the warehouse, and wants to learn the flooring trade alongside an expert, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Installation Support & Site Prep Job Site Assistance:
Work directly alongside the Lead Installer to prepare residential and commercial locations for new flooring and window treatments.
Tear-Out & Prep:
Handle the physical removal of old flooring, clean the sub floor, and stage materials for the Lead Installer.
Installation Support:
Assist with the installation of various flooring types (hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl/tile, carpet, ceramic tile) and window coverings (blinds, shades, shutters).
Warehouse & Delivery Operations High-Low Operation:
Safely operate a high-low/forklift to load, unload, stack, and stage heavy flooring pallets and long-box blind shipments in the warehouse.
Delivery & Logistics:
Load delivery vehicles securely, transport materials safely to job sites, and verify that all loaded components match the daily job paperwork.
Inventory Control:
Assist with receiving incoming stock, keeping the warehouse organized, and maintaining equipment.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly, kneel/bend for extended periods during flooring installation, and work safely on ladders.
Valid Driver's License:
A clean driving record to safely operate company delivery vehicles.
Equipment Certification:
Valid high-low/forklift operator certification, or a willingness to obtain one immediately upon hire.
Basic Math & Measurement Skills:
Ability to read a tape measure accurately down to the sixteenth of an inch.
Team-Player Attitude:
A reliable, punctual work ethic with a professional, customer-first attitude while inside clients' homes.
Preferred:
General Trade Experience:
Previous experience in construction, carpentry, moving, or general labor is highly preferred, though we will train the right person.
Work Environment & Benefits Job Type:
Full-time Schedule:
Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend shifts depending on project volume).
Environment:
