Warehouse Specialist Position Summary The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the overall organization, cleanliness, safety, and day-to-day operations of the Distribution Center (DC). This position supports inbound and outbound freight, installation operations, fleet coordination, inventory management, and general warehouse activities while ensuring the facility and equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities Maintain the general upkeep, organization, and cleanliness of the Distribution Center. Maintain the parking lot and loading dock areas, ensuring they are free of debris and maintained in a safe and functional condition. Complete daily tasks and activities that support installation operations and inbound/outbound freight. Oversee the company truck fleet, including preventative maintenance (PM) scheduling, service coordination, and daily crew/truck assignments. Coordinate daily floor activities within the Distribution Center to maintain an organized and efficient workflow. Load daily outbound product and assist with the proper handling and use of warehouse equipment and hardware. Identify faulty or damaged equipment and report recommended repair or replacement needs, including associated costs, to the Operations Director. Oversee dumpster and compactor usage and coordinate contents removal as needed. Oversee the return goods process, including the handling, organization, and disposition of returned product. Receive, unload, pack, stage, and rack inbound freight. Oversee inbound freight and ensure proper documentation and placement within Core. Manage and maintain the Try-A-Chair program and associated product. Implement, maintain, and ensure accurate use of the IMS system within Core. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Director.
