General Laborer Complete Prototype Services, Inc. - 1.0 Clinton Township, MI Job Details Full-time $15 - $18 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Driver's License Attention to detail Driving Ability to follow instructions Clean workspace maintenance Full Job Description Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the General Laborer performs a variety of tasks under close supervision of higher-level employees. These tasks may include assisting with extra workload, covering absences and vacations, and supplementing crews to meet unusual changes in the production area or in the weather.
Essential Job Functions:
Conduct equipment changeovers to accommodate demands Cleans and lubricates equipment, maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assigned. Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines. Cares for property by cutting grass, repairing yard, pulling and discarding weeds, or shoveling and removing snow. Performs any unskilled job at the plant. May be trained to act as forklift operator when normal operator is out. Drive from building to building and must have valid driver's license. Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee. Ensures that workstation is kept in clean and safe condition. Follows safety guidelines and regulations. Work with teammates and other employees to generate efficiency, quality, and safety improvements Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions. Ability to manipulate tools to complete job tasks. Good attention to detail and problem solving skills Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process. Ability to perform repetitive tasks. Excellent time management skills. A combination of relevant work experience and educational credentials other than what is listed above may also be considered by the Company, at its discretion.
