Job Description
Nail Addicts is hiring a Salon Receptionist and Guest Host We are growing, and we are looking for one more person to join our front of house team. We create extraordinary experiences for our guests and a workplace our team is proud to be part of. If what you read below sounds like you, we would love to meet you. Please read this part first This is a front desk, hospitality, and administrative role. It is not a nail tech position, it is not a training path into one, and it is not a cafe or bar lead role. We are not hiring or training beauty professionals through this position, now or later. This role is for someone who walks in, sees what the day needs, and starts moving. Our front desk is busy on purpose, and the person who loves it is the one who would rather have five things going than sit and wait for the phone to ring. We are looking for one person who wants this job, wants to own it, and plans to still be in it a year from now, better at it than when they started. What we believe in We bring joy every day and treat every guest like they are seen, appreciated, and cared for. We keep our space clean and organized, because that is the foundation of trust. We hold each other to high standards and work as a team to keep the day running smooth. And we do it all with fun, positivity, and pride in where we work. What this role really is You would be running the front of our salon right alongside me, the owner, guiding each day together. This is the backbone of the business. You are the first face our guests see, the person who keeps our team supported, and the one who holds the whole day together. Picture a Saturday. The phone is ringing, two guests are checking out, a latte is up, and someone just walked through the door. If that sounds like your kind of day, keep reading. What you would do Welcome and host our guests, and run check-ins and check-outs so every visit feels smooth Answer our phones, texts, and emails, and connect warmly with clients Book and manage appointments in our salon software and run our daily schedule Watch the schedule for gaps and help keep our artists booked Confirm and update clients, and follow up with people who inquire but have not booked yet Talk to guests about our services, our loyalty program, and our retail, because you want them to get the most out of their visit Make our specialty cocktails and lattes, since we have a bar in the salon and drinks are part of caring for our guests Support our team throughout the day Help with cleaning, stocking, inventory, and organizing the salon Run occasional errands Stay productive during slower stretches without needing direction You might be our person if You light up making someone's day You love talking with guests and connecting on the phone You come to work put together. Hair done, dressed for our brand, ready to be the first face our guests see You are on your feet and moving most of your shift, and you would rather be busy than watch the clock You look for the small thing that makes someone's visit better, and you do it before anyone asks You are comfortable recommending services, drinks, and products because you genuinely want guests to have the best experience You take pride in a clean and organized space You are dependable and punctual, and your team can count on you You bring good energy even on a hard day We will train you Prior experience with our booking software or our beverage program is not required. We use Phorest and will fully train you so you feel confident on the system. Experience in hospitality, luxury retail, a salon or spa, or a front office is a plus, but what matters most is the right attitude, a warm heart for people, and a willingness to learn and grow with us. What we offer $17 per hour A set part-time schedule, about 30 hours per week Bonus opportunities tied to retail and guest experience Employee discounts on services and products Paid training and real development, not just a handoff Room to grow as we grow A beautiful salon with a craft cocktail and coffee bar, and a team that actually likes each other Your set schedule Wednesday 9:50am to 7:30pm Thursday 3:00pm to 7:30pm Friday 9:50am to 7:30pm Saturday 9:50am to 4:30pm This schedule is set. Please only apply if you are fully available for all four shifts every week. Requirements Must be 21 or older, as we serve alcoholic beverages Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as errands are sometimes needed Must be able to commit to the full set schedule above Reliable attendance, because this role is the center of our day
