This is not just a shipping position. The right person will help maintain inventory, assist with shipping and receiving, operate a hi-lo, move product between locations, and learn how to perform basic stock conversions on hydraulic pumps and motors. Hydraulic experience is helpful but is not required. We can train the right person if they are mechanically capable, dependable, organized, and willing to learn. Responsibilities Pull and prepare customer orders Assist with shipping and receiving Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse locations Perform inventory and stock checks Organize and maintain warehouse areas Operate a hi-lo/forklift safely Load and unload trucks Drive company vehicles as needed Pull a trailer when needed Help move inventory between warehouse locations Learn and perform approved stock conversions on hydraulic products Change shafts, flanges, valve plates, port positions, and other approved components after training Follow written build and conversion procedures Assist with build pulls and preparation Verify parts and model codes before performing conversions Help maintain accurate documentation for completed builds Package products for shipment Assist the shop and shipping department as needed Requirements Must be dependable and show up as scheduled Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week Must be comfortable operating a hi-lo/forklift Must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable pulling a trailer Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools Ability to follow detailed written instructions Strong attention to detail Ability to maintain accurate inventory Comfortable lifting and moving warehouse products Willingness to learn hydraulic pumps, motors, and related components Able to work independently after training Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a plus: Warehouse or shipping/receiving Forklift / hi-lo operation Automotive or mechanical repair Machine shop work Hydraulic equipment Parts distribution Inventory control Assembly or manufacturing Hydraulic experience is not required . We are more interested in someone who is mechanically capable, dependable, and willing to learn. What We Are Looking For We want someone who can eventually look at a work request, pull the correct stock and components, follow an established conversion procedure, complete the work accurately, and keep the job moving without requiring constant supervision. This position can be part-time or full-time depending on the candidate. We require a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week .
