POSITION OVERVIEW

Dwyer Marble & Stone Supply is seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Warehouse Representative to join our team. The Warehouse Representative plays an important role in ensuring our customers receive the right products, on time and in excellent condition. This position supports daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, shipping, loading, material movement, and customer support. The ideal candidate takes pride in doing the job correctly, works well as part of a team, and understands that safety, accuracy, efficiency, and customer service are all critical to our success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Operations Perform daily warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, picking, staging, loading, and shipping materials. Pull, stage, and verify orders for 100% accuracy before shipment. Verify slab serial numbers and properly label slabs according to customer and order requirements. Safely load company trucks and third-party carriers and properly secure loads and frames. Complete final load checks to verify product, quantity, and paperwork. Safely transport materials between buildings as required. Inventory & Documentation Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling, labeling, and documentation. Process returns and slab adjustments accurately and within established timelines. Assist with warehouse organization, space creation, and inventory optimization. Safety & Equipment Follow OSHA requirements, company safety standards, and established procedures. Complete daily crane safety inspections and safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse equipment. Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas and equipment. Immediately report safety concerns, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions to leadership. Customer & Team Support Assist customers with slab selections and respond to photo requests in a timely and professional manner. Communicate effectively with Warehouse Representatives, drivers, leadership, and other departments. Support and backfill other warehouse functions as needed. Work as part of a team to meet daily customer and operational needs. Performance & Continuous Improvement Follow established processes and workflows to support on-time shipping, quality, and service goals. Support performance expectations related to accuracy, safety, productivity, and customer service. Identify process issues or opportunities for improvement and communicate them to leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

Warehouse, distribution, material-handling, or similar experience preferred. Ability to safely handle and move heavy materials. Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other material-handling equipment preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to follow safety procedures and established workflows. Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities. Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and responsibilities.
