Job Overview We are seeking a Warehouse Lead with strong common sense and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to help run our 5-to-10 person operation. This isn't a clipboard-and-desk job. We need a reliable "working lead" who will take the daily directives from our General Manager and ensure they are executed efficiently on the floor, while being perfectly willing to jump on a forklift and get their hands dirty to keep production moving. In this role, you will act as the General Manager's point person on the floor. Your job is to take the day's goals, keep the crew on task, and handle the physical workflow of our packaging, warehousing, and pallet/crate manufacturing operations. Daily Plan:
Act out the daily directives from the General Manager, ensuring the team hits their production and shipping goals for the day. Direct the
Floor:
Keep a 5-to-10 person crew on task, organizing the workflow for shipping, receiving, and material handling. Work Alongside the
Team:
Jump on a forklift, help load/unload trucks, and handle heavy lifting whenever the floor gets busy.
Handle Minor Hiccups:
Use common sense to troubleshoot basic floor issues and keep production moving so the GM isn't pulled away for every small problem. Manage the
Data:
Oversee basic inventory control procedures and RF scanning, ensuring accurate stock levels in our system (NetSuite ERP).
Maintain Standards:
Ensure a safe, organized, and highly efficient floor layout while adhering to standard safety practices.
Requirements Experience:
Proven experience operating a forklift (certification preferred) and acting as a lead or senior member of a small team in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
The Right Mindset:
Strong common sense and reliability. You need the ability to take a daily plan from the GM and run with it without needing to be micromanaged.
Hands-On:
A strict willingness to work physically on the floor alongside the crew for the majority of the shift.
Tech Foundations:
Basic computer literacy to handle inventory systems and daily admin tasks (experience with NetSuite is a huge plus).
Physical Ability:
The capability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly and stay active on your feet.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
