ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operates Powered Industrial Truck safely and efficiently and in accordance with MIOSHA and company standards. Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device. Loads and unloads racks and/or containers onto trucks. Inventories materials on work floor. Weighs material/products, records weight on tags, labels and/or production schedules. Loads/unloads materials onto and/or off pallets, skids or lifting device. Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank or replaces liquefied gas tank. Ensures correct tagging is on all containers prior to moving. Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment. Completes safety and operational checks daily. Help in departmental operation wherever necessary. Keeps work areas clean and orderly. Participates in continuous improvement activities. Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor.
