We're looking for a hands-on, detail oriented, and safety minded individual to join our team as a Sorter/General Labor. What You'll Be Doing Discard or reject product not meeting specifications Inspect, weigh, or measure materials and products for conformance to specifications Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying and correcting these problems Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions Grade and sort products according to sizes, weights, colors, or other specifications Inspect glass at light box inspection station Weigh product containers to verify packaging weights and ingredient quantities Push stems down with two fingers into jar before syrup filling Place tamper resistant shrouds onto individual containers prior to heat shrink Attach plastic lids to container Form, tape, and line cases by hand for finished product packaging Other tasks as assigned What You Bring to the Table High school diploma or equivalent Basic math and clear communication skills. The Work Environment Exposure to wet/humid conditions and extreme heat/cold. Some high noise levels and moving mechanical parts. Exposure to brine, bleach, and cleaning chemicals. Must wear proper PPE such as bump cap, eye and ear protection, gloves, respirator to ensure your safety as well as protecting the quality of our products.
