The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This role involves order processing, checking and receiving merchandise, stocking, inventory management, and performing general warehouse duties. Responsibilities as a
Warehouse Clerk:
Order Processing:
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Receiving Merchandise:
Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders. Unload and unpack merchandise, checking for damages and discrepancies. Record received items in the inventory management system.
Stocking:
Organize and stock merchandise in designated areas. Ensure all items are stored in an orderly and accessible manner. Replenish stock as needed to maintain inventory levels.
Inventory Management:
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. Assist in inventory audits and cycle counts. Maintain accurate inventory records.
General Warehouse Duties:
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if certified). Assist in loading and unloading trucks. Perform other duties as assigned by the
Leader Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Capability to lift and carry items up to 15lbs-30lbs.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced warehouse setting. Exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
