Start Something New With Us in Lansing! The Bay Family of Companies is growing, and we're building a new team at our Lansing, Michigan location. We're looking for dependable, hardworking General Laborers who want the opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow with us. As a General Laborer, you'll be an important part of our production team. You'll work alongside Machine Operators and Material Handlers to keep materials moving, support production, prepare finished products, and help make sure customer orders are completed safely and accurately. Your responsibilities will include:

Prepare and load fiberglass insulation and facing materials into production equipment Start, wrap, identify, and unload finished laminated products Load and unload trucks Prepare and package materials and finished products for shipment Move materials throughout the facility to keep production supplied Help stage materials for production runs and order changeovers Perform quality checks to make sure finished products meet customer requirements Accurately label and store raw materials and finished products Assist with inventory counts and waste reporting Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment Safely operate balers, trash compactors, band saws, and power tools Assist Machine Operators with the safe and efficient operation of laminators Complete daily equipment safety inspections Keep work areas, aisles, and storage areas clean and organized Work as part of a team to help ensure orders are completed and shipped on time Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements Requirements What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, willing to learn, and takes pride in doing quality work.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Manufacturing, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred Forklift certification or ability to become certified upon hire Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain active throughout the shift Commitment to safety, organization, and productivity Build Your Future With Us Be one of the first members of our Lansing team!
