We are actively looking to add an experienced steel stamping Die setter/Material handler to our current press room team! If you have experience setting dies in progressive/Single hit line dies we believe there is an opportunity for you with Selective Industries! Must utilize proper methods of lockout tagout and maintaining machines. This is a full time position working 40+ hours per week. Set up progressive/single hit line dies in power press. Single hit assembly dies with use of knock out system. Perform lead checks on stop blocks. Check first piece part using various gages and inspection tools to ensure customer quality standards are met. Able to properly start and end coil strips without miss hits or die damage Able to thread a straightened strip from the entry part of the reel or cradle. Ability to start strip through the die and begin continuous operation. Recognize coil straightness problems Able to properly and safely load a coil. Responsible for following lockout/tagout requirements. Ensure proper labeling requirements are followed. Adjust feeders Set up die protection. Pay attention to detail, troubleshoot die set up and the way the press runs to achieve optimal results. Perform basic maintenance of machines if needed Complete necessary paperwork for die set up.

Additional Information:

Must have own tools Knowledge of OSHA and MIOSHA requirements as applied to the die set up and press operation. Must be self-motivated and disciplined Must have own/reliable transportation. Good attendance is required!
