Job Description

Domtar is a leading producer of pulp, paper, packaging, tissue and wood products. Domtar, Menominee Operations (formerly known as Resolute Forest Products) is seeking a Material Handler for a rotating shift. Shifts are twelve (12) hours and allow for work/life balance with seven (7) days off in a row each month, with fourteen (14) working days per month. This is a permanent full time position. Training is available for this position; however, previous experience with operation of forklifts is preferred. We offer an exceptionally clean work environment and a strong commitment to safety, with nearly 16 years without a lost-time accident and almost 14 years without a recordable accident. The current hourly wage is $22.41, with opportunities for overtime available. Employees are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package beginning with their first pay period. Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe and accurate unloading, warehousing and feeding of raw materials. Accountable for the proper identification of wastepaper grades Properly feed materials to be used in the daily blend, to meet quality requirements. Warehouse raw material according to "grade" in designated areas. Know how to operate and maintain all related equipment. Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma, be able to work twelve (12) hour shifts that consist of nights and weekends and pass a pre-employment drug test and medical clearance.
