Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for making sure the customers' orders are picked/packed accurately by utilizing a paper picklist, picking system software, RF scanner, and packing software to provide license plate labels and packing slips. Operates a hand truck and powered industrial truck.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Picks product as directed by the picking system software/hardware, and the work instructions. Packs product utilizing our Enterprise Resource Planning system software (PrintStream) and hardware, and the work instructions. Supports and helps maintain pick/pack performance goals that are put in place. Performs housekeeping duties following the 5S system that is in place. Provides continuous review and feedback for the updating of work instructions. Operate required Powered Industrial Trucks, following all safety protocols.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
Inventory put away. Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns. Cycle or physical counting of inventory. Gives input on proper slotting and location of product. Occasional operation of box shredder. This job may require overtime. Any other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Basic math skills. Team based and detail oriented. PC familiarity. The ability to follow written work instructions. Good verbal and written communication skills. Minimum average lines picked per hour when pick to light picking
  • 320. Minimum average lines picked per hour when RF picking
  • 230. Minimum average lines packed per hour
  • 200.
Minimum picking accuracy 99.4%. Certification per
OSHA/MIOSHA
standards for Order Picker. Electric Pallet Jack may be required, based on operational needs. Assist with training full time and temporary staff as required. Highly motivated and a quick learner able to function in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
Prefer 6 months experience in a warehouse/shipping environment. Work overtime, weekends as needed, across multiple shifts.

From $17.65 per hour
