Job Description

Position Summary CRDN and Huntington Cleaners is seeking a full-time Textile Restoration Warehouse Technician that is responsible for receiving, processing, organizing, cleaning, packaging, storing, and preparing customers' textile and personal property items for restoration and return. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to safely handle and move customer property, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Warehouse Technician plays an important role in ensuring that customer belongings are properly identified, documented, handled, processed, and returned in accordance with CRDN and Huntington Cleaners quality and operational standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming customer garments, textiles, and personal property. Accurately identify, tag, barcode, and organize customer items. Sort textiles and garments according to established restoration and cleaning procedures. Load and unload textile restoration materials, carts, racks, boxes, and other equipment. Move customer property throughout the warehouse and production areas safely and efficiently. Assist with cleaning, deodorizing, drying, packaging, and other textile restoration processes. Operate washers, dryers, garment equipment, racks, carts, and other warehouse/production equipment as trained. Inspect completed items for cleanliness, damage, stains, odors, and overall quality. Properly package and prepare completed items for storage, delivery, or customer pickup. Maintain accurate inventory and location information for customer property. Assist with locating and preparing completed orders for delivery. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse and work area. Follow all company procedures regarding customer property, chain of custody, documentation, and security. Immediately report damaged, missing, unidentified, or questionable items to management. Follow established safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist other departments and warehouse personnel as needed. Perform other duties assigned by management. Customer Property Responsibilities Because this position involves handling customers' personal belongings, the employee must: Treat all customer property with care and respect. Maintain accurate identification and tracking of all items. Never remove, use, or retain customer property for personal purposes. Immediately report any lost, damaged, or unidentified property. Maintain confidentiality regarding customer belongings and restoration projects. Follow all CRDN procedures for documenting the movement and status of customer property. Physical Requirements The employee must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently bend, stoop, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull. Lift and move boxes, bags, garments, textiles, and other materials. Safely move loaded carts and racks. Work in a warehouse/production environment for extended periods. Repeatedly perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Lift up to approximately 50 pounds , with or without reasonable accommodation. Work safely around machinery, cleaning equipment, carts, racks, and other warehouse equipment.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma/GED preferred. Previous warehouse, laundry, textile, restoration, production, or similar experience preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to handle customer property responsibly. Basic organizational and recordkeeping skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience in textile cleaning, garment care, laundry, dry cleaning, contents restoration, or property restoration. Experience with inventory, barcode, or tracking systems. Previous warehouse or production equipment experience. Knowledge of garment and textile handling procedures. Work Environment This position operates primarily in a warehouse and textile restoration production environment. The employee may be exposed to varying temperatures, dust, odors, cleaning products, machinery, wet materials, and other conditions commonly associated with textile restoration and warehouse operations. Employees are expected to follow all company safety procedures and use required PPE. Performance Expectations The successful employee is expected to demonstrate:
