Job Description About Gen-Oak Fabricators, Inc. , a structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication shop since 1966. Looking for a dependable full time employee to join our team. Experience preferred but not necessary. Employee will be required to wear appropriate PPE including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses, safety boots, and hearing protection. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on structural steel, clean and prime steel. Operate shears, punches and grinders. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area and other shop duties.

Requirements All items below:

Experience preferred but not necessary. Will provide all needed training. Familiarity with reading drawings and measuring instruments. Experience with power tools such as grinders, drills, and machining equipment. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to welding operations and heavy equipment handling. Ability to perform shop math calculations for measurements. Effective communication skills.
