Responsibilities Prepare products for shipment by accurately packing items using appropriate materials and techniques to prevent damage during transit. Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper stacking on pallets and safe handling of goods. Conduct quality control checks to verify order accuracy, packaging integrity, and compliance with safety protocols. Maintain organized storage areas by stocking inventory correctly and ensuring clear pathways for safe warehouse operations. Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling techniques, and adherence to safety protocols during all tasks. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers, including order picking, packing, shipping & receiving. Familiarity with inventory management systems, barcode scanning for logistics, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks consistently. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Knowledge of safety protocols related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation. Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leading small teams is a plus but not required.
