Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Material Handler is responsible for effective and efficient handling of different warehouse activities in line with the company's security, environmental, and quality policies. Position is for 1st shift which runs 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Duties Maintain direct contact with customer service, planning, and quality to partner effectively in supporting daily needs Prepare all the expeditions in accordance with the Customer Service departure schedule Prepare all the necessary components to run each manufacturing order Internal logistics: Movement of material in a safe manner that protects the parts and equipment from damage Continuous improvement in the department to improve security and/or productivity Ensure that physical stock and ERP stock match on daily basis Manage the physical stocks (stock accuracy in quantity and location) Participate in annual inventory sessions Respect the Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and the resulting procedures Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver's license Good attendance record Strong math skills Strong attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively Basic computer skills are a must Education High school diploma or GED and significant relevant experience Forklift operator experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sitting, squatting, walking and bending up to 10 hours per day Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Exposure to warehouse and production environment
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Full sole shoes are required (sandals, crocks, mules and slip on shoes are not allowed) Pre-employment requirements include passing criminal background check and 10 panel drug screen.

$17.50 - $18.00 per hour
