  • IMMEDIATE OPENINGMaterial Handler
  • 1st ShiftRochester Hills, MI6:30am-2:30pm
  • $17/hr Key Responsibilities Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in the warehouse, recording location of inventory.
To achieve this by manually or using powered equipment to pick, sort, move, and store goods, which includes tasks like receiving inventory, preparing products for shipment, maintaining accurate records, and operating machinery like forklifts and pallet. Material Handler Activities Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks. Audits all incoming shipments to confirm correct quantity of parts. Pick and put away material from production area into the warehouse using appropriate scanner transaction. Sends appropriate parts to containment area. Rotates all stock to comply with FIFO requirement. Labels all pallets with Master H.U. Maintain all customers dunnage. Internal Support Pull customer requirements per Deliver Notes (pick sheets). Stock production areas per RF scanner. Pull scrap material from designated area for scrap pick-up. 5S all areas of the warehouse. Send and respond to emails with team members and supervisors. Preferred Education, Experience Minimum 3 years work related experience (automotive warehouse) Fork Lift (Hi-Lo) Operator License & Fork Lift Battery knowledge High School diploma or equivalent Computer literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Must be dependable, responsible, and able to work flexible hours Must be able to work with limited supervision while performing multiple tasks concurrently with a high level of attention to detail Lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly, climbing and bending is required 5S knowledge INDLiv
