Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Clerk and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse workflows, accurate order fulfillment, and efficient inventory management. Your proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a safe and organized environment. Responsibilities Receive, unload, and load shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts while adhering to safety protocols Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory movements accurately Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction Stock shelves and organize storage areas to optimize space and accessibility for efficient order picking and inventory checks Conduct shipping and receiving activities, verifying quantities against purchase orders and delivery documentation Assist with cycle counts, stock replenishment, and inventory reconciliation using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems like AS400 Support packaging processes for various products, ensuring proper labeling and secure packing for transportation Requirements Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments is highly preferred Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and effectively (certification is a plus) Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and inventory stocking techniques Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and load/unload operations Excellent attention to detail combined with good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in logistics.
