Qualified Staffing is seeking a dependable Material Handler for an exciting opportunity with our client in St. Clair. We're looking for someone who can help ensure production has the proper materials, packaging, and components needed to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently. What You'll DoProvide and maintain the proper raw materials, packaging, and components for each jobAssist with new job setups and pre-dry materialsMix materials according to process requirements using mixers, fines separators, and manual mixingClean and maintain dryers, loaders, hopper filters, and grindersMaintain a clean and organized work areaAssist with employee breaks as neededAssist with monthly inventory cycle countsFollow process manual instructions and the production board systemProperly utilize and document materialsParticipate in continuous improvement initiativesWhat We're Looking ForGood reading and math skillsPrevious material handling experience preferredAbility to obtain a Hi-Lo/Forklift licenseAbility to lift up to 55 poundsGood performance and attendance recordAbility to demonstrate competency through testing and job performance after trainingAbility to work safely and effectively in a manufacturing environmentPhysical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to occasionally stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and use hands to handle tools, controls, and materials.
