General Laborer Job Summary Responsible for production needs as appropriate for assignment. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Responsible for actively supporting continuous improvement initiatives of the facility Manually load or unload materials Drive Forklift and/or other industrial equipment as needed, if licensed Keep accurate and precise counts on material loaded, unloaded, or moved Load/unload trucks as needed, if licensed Move material to corresponding departments as needed, if licensed Mop, sweep, clean all areas assigned Notify Supervisor or Lead Person of needed items Visually inspect parts Operate various power tools including (but not limited to) grinders, presses, saws, etc. Accurately measure or weight parts as required Touch up paint material Band material with a manual or electric bander Assist other departments when needed Responsible for all other procedures and instructions as required by the job function Must adhere to all safety and environmental policies Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite for the duration of scheduled shifts, including mandatory overtime Maintain general housekeeping and orderly work area(s) Maintain regular, reliable and punctual attendance at the worksite for the duration of scheduled shifts, including mandatory overtime Understand and comply with all company policies, procedures, rules and standards Maintain professional, cooperative, respectful and ethical conduct when interacting with coworkers, customers, vendors and the public Meet established productivity, quality, accuracy and performance standards while completing assigned work in a timely manner Effectively and consistently support the company mission, vision and values Responsible for all other duties, procedures and instructions as required by the job function, or as assigned, to meet organizational needs Qualifications Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED preferred Skills and Abilities Requires the ability to read & write Must be able to accurately read a tape measure Ability to successfully pass a written exam and physical observation test for an Industrial Truck Permit The ability to adjust to changing job functions Capable of working well with co-workers of different cultural backgrounds Certifications or Licenses None Working Conditions This position primarily operates in a manufacturing environment where exposure to loud noises, machinery, and varying temperatures is common. Employees may also be exposed to dust, fumes, and other airborne particles. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.

Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or climb during shift Regularly required to talk and hear Must be able to lift and carry at least 51 pounds Ability to operate machinery, tools, and equipment as necessary Visual and manual dexterity is required to inspect and handle products/materials
