Responsibilities Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and inventory management software to ensure accurate stock levels and data entry. Assist with order picking, packing, and preparing shipments for dispatch, utilizing RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed. Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols, ensuring proper handling of goods with equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts. Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves, labeling items clearly, and conducting regular stock counts to support inventory accuracy. Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipment details, preparing shipping labels, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards. Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to optimize logistics workflows, improve order fulfillment processes, and enhance overall warehouse distribution efficiency. Use ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP software for data entry, order processing, and tracking shipments throughout the supply chain. Requirements Prior experience in warehouse operations or a similar logistics environment is highly preferred. Proficiency in warehouse management systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment documentation. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely; familiarity with pallet jacks is essential. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail; experience using RF scanners and warehouse equipment like order pickers is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors. Knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment procedures, packaging standards, and trade compliance regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards and operational accuracy.
