Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and weighing of materials within our distribution center. Your expertise in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling will ensure smooth logistics flow and timely order fulfillment. This position offers an engaging environment where your skills in manual handling, forklift operation, and warehouse management systems will drive operational excellence and support our commitment to safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities Material Transport:
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and drum handlers to move chemical containers, pallets, and bulk materials within the warehouse and production areas. Deliver materials to production areas for Chemical operators for processing. weigh materials when delivered and weigh before returning materials back to their assigned area.
Safety & Compliance:
Strictly follow OSHA and EPA guidelines regarding hazardous materials, including the use of required PPE and spill-containment procedures.
Inventory Control:
Monitor stock levels, perform regular cycle counts, and use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to track lot numbers and material locations.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect containers for leaks, damage, or contamination before moving them into storage or production.
Facility Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized work environment and complete pre-use inspections on all material-handling equipment. Skills Strong attention to detail for tracking lot numbers and expiration dates. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with production, quality control, and logistics teams. Basic math and computer proficiency for data entry.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
