Quality Inspector/General Labor Quality Line Services - 3.9 Westland, MI Job Details Full-time $15 - $16 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Attention to detail Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector/General Labor to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring products meet strict quality standards through precise inspections and measurements, supporting manufacturing processes, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Your energetic approach will help uphold our commitment to excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality production while developing your skills in quality assurance and manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Perform dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications. Conduct thorough quality audits throughout the production process to ensure adherence to
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, HACCP, FDA
regulations, and other regulatory standards. Interpret mechanical blueprints and manufacturing documents accurately to identify deviations from design specifications. Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles for precise inspection of machined parts and assemblies. Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics, non-conformance reports, and inspection results to support continuous improvement initiatives. Operate measuring instruments such as height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and vision systems with precision and consistency. Assist in maintaining calibration schedules for all measurement tools and ensure compliance with quality management systems. Support manufacturing teams by providing clear feedback on quality issues and collaborating on corrective actions to meet quality standards in production. Qualifications Hard working and eager to learn. Please notate if you have forklift/ ho-lo experience
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
