Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Warehouse Technician to support daily warehouse and material handling operations. This role involves receiving, staging, moving, and preparing materials using forklifts and overhead cranes while maintaining accurate inventory and a clean, organized warehouse. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and experienced in operating industrial material‑handling equipment. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move raw materials, finished goods, and equipment Load and unload trucks using forklifts and cranes, ensuring proper rigging and secure handling Store, label, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production, delivery, or shipment Follow proper crane signaling, rigging procedures, and load‑rating requirements Maintain accurate inventory records and report shortages or discrepancies Assist in performing routine cycle counts and assist with inventory audits Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations Communicate effectively with supervisors, production teams, and drivers Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material‑handling experience preferred Forklift certification required or willingness to become certified Overhead crane experience or certification preferred Knowledge of safe rigging practices and load handling is a plus Ability to read work orders, packing slips, and inventory labels Basic computer or inventory system experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Reliable attendance and punctuality Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb as required throughout the shift Comfortable working in an industrial warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Benefits package may include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan Paid training and certification opportunities (forklift and crane) Stable employment with opportunities for advancement
