Duties Operate material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and cranes to load, unload, and transport goods safely across the warehouse. Stock shelves accurately by picking orders and replenishing inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software like AS400. Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and packaging to prepare products for shipment or storage. Maintain precise inventory control by performing regular stock counts, updating inventory records, and ensuring proper storage of materials. Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspecting for damages, and organizing outbound deliveries. Follow safety regulations (OSHA standards) and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all warehouse activities to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with warehouse operations such as order picking, order fulfillment, load & unload activities, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas. Requirements Proven experience operating warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, and heavy machinery. Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, inventory management techniques, and logistics operations. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safety protocols. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software like AS400, and material handling equipment operation. Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is preferred but not required. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and the use of PPE is essential for maintaining a safe workplace environment. Technical proficiency with order pickers, shipping & receiving procedures, packaging techniques, and load & unload activities.
