About the Role Creative Beauty Brands is looking for a Warehouse Receiving Associate to keep our components, raw materials, and supplies moving accurately from the dock to the floor. You will receive, inspect, verify, and document every incoming shipment, making sure it meets our quality standards, matches its purchase order, and is entered correctly into our inventory system. You will work closely with Purchasing, Production, and Quality, and you will help us uphold high standards with no exceptions. What You'll Do Receiving and Verification Receive incoming components, raw materials, and supplies from vendors Verify quantities, part numbers, and shipment documentation against purchase orders and packing slips Identify and resolve receiving discrepancies with Purchasing, working to reduce them over time Inspection and Quality Inspect received materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies Coordinate with Quality Control on inspection requirements for incoming materials Report non-conforming materials and assist with corrective actions Inventory Records and Labeling Accurately record all receipts in the inventory management system, with on-time processing of incoming materials Label and identify components according to company procedures Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to support inventory accuracy Material Handling, Safety, and Housekeeping Move materials to designated storage or production locations Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required, following completion of company training and authorization for powered industrial trucks Maintain organized, clean receiving and storage areas Follow all safety, housekeeping, and company policies and procedures, and hold to high standards with no exceptions What You'll Bring High school diploma or GED Basic computer skills and the ability to enter data accurately into an inventory system Ability to read purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards Nice to Have Previous warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience Forklift certification Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and inventory control practices Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Frequent bending, lifting, and material movement Works in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and warehouse traffic Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: 401(k) with company match Health and dental insurance FSA, HSA, and Dependent Care FSA Company-paid life insurance, STD & LTD Paid time off
