Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Delivery & Warehouse Associate, where your energy and dedication will drive your success! This full-time or part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our logistics operations, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient warehouse management. You'll play a vital part in moving products safely and accurately, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a smooth flow of goods from our warehouse to our customers' doors. Responsibilities Safely load and unload products using manual handling techniques, or other equipment while following safe lifting practices Drive commercial vehicles such as box trucks or drivers to deliver goods to various locations, adhering to DOT regulations and route schedules Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, ensuring compliance with weight handling standards in the workplace Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and maintenance needs are met Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by communicating professionally with clients and addressing their needs Move inventory within the warehouse using manual handling equipment like pallet jacks or hand carts, ensuring accurate placement and organization Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual handling, and vehicle operation to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues Skills Prior warehouse experience with familiarity in load & unload procedures and inventory management Valid commercial driving license with experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles; knowledge of driving routes and delivery schedules Experience with delivery driver roles, courier services, or route driving preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices and manual handling standards Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and weight handling in the workplace Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is a plus; certification is advantageous Strong customer service skills with clear communication abilities and a professional demeanor This role offers an energetic environment where your proactive attitude will make a real impact!
